The lime trees on the Old Grammar School site, which were
planted in memory of the eleven Old Students who gave their
lives in the First World War, have been laterally pruned and
the walkway tidied, making an attractive, quiet area.
The ground-cover of ivy is splashed with daffodils and crocuses.
On the grassy bank before entering the walkway is a plaque
bearing the names of the eleven.
"We will remember them"
We are very grateful to those who have been involved in this
improvement.
