An exhibition of christening robes, shawls and quilts on
display at Lymm Methodist Church Hall.
There are over fifty exhibits on display showing how christening
robes & shawls are passed down through the family as family
heirlooms forming a symbol that links sometimes, across many generations.
Also on display are many hand-made quilts created by Mary Marsden
showing the skill and colours that form each individual design.
A wonderful display that takes you back in time and brings out
your own personal memories as you walk around and see the craftwork
in all the shawls and robes.
