Lymm is a new and friendly hockey club for men, women and juniors that trains and plays at Lymm High School. We have an excellent clubhouse which is shared with Lymm Rugby Club.
This season we have entered a ladies team into the Cheshire League and training has already started. This means the club will now have three teams in place for the forthcoming season.
We have a complete range of abilities in the club, from complete beginners to experienced National League players. Amongst our 3 training staff we boast a level 3 hockey coach which is the highest qualification achievable in our sport.
Our future relies heavily on our links with the local schools and we have a very active junior section. We have built a formal relationship with Lymm High School where we run the ‘after school training’ session on Mondays on the school’s behalf. In addition, we have Club training every Thursday evening. Specific junior training on Thursdays is from 6.00 – 7.30 and the rest of the club train from 7.30 – 9.00. Juniors playing in the mens team can join the later session too.
Membership for adults is £50 and for juniors the fee is £25.
Should anyone be interested in joining they can contact the Chairman Andrew Scowcroft on 01925 759633. We also have a website at www.lymmhockeyclub.co.uk
