Lymm Festival Picnic 2004

Set in the grounds of Lymm Hall a 17th century manor house one of the best kept secrets of Lymm.

This year it was a complete ticket sell out; many thanks go to the generosity of the Cottrill Family, owners of Lymm Hall for opening their delightful home and beautiful grounds.

The event started with a reception at the Hall for ‘Friends of the Festival' to be welcomed by the Cottrill family and thanked for their generosity, work and support throughout the last 10 days. Making the Festival; even more successful, than previous years. Thanks were given by Ian Marks.

The lawns were soon adorned with picnic hampers, chairs, tables and a little light refreshment! As the people gathered and set the scene.

The evening started with some easy listening music to chat and dine to. People were invited to stroll around the grounds to look at the beautiful mature trees and flower beds.

Then by way of a contrast the evening compare Nick Johnson, set the mood for a fun night of dancing to the fabulous sounds of

The New Originals, A Manchester based band that covered songs by various artists; including James Brown, Abba, The Beatles, Wham and lots more favourites. They were excellent we are sure all would agree.

The evening ended with Thanks to the Festival committee members for all their hard work.

We hope the photos capture the evening and bring pleasure to those would did not attend as well as those lucky few who did!
