Saturday 3rd July
7pm - 11.30pm. Lymm Hall, Rectory Lane, Lymm.
Car park and entrance on May Queen Field, Pepper Street
£15.00 per head. Pre-booking essential (ticket holders must
be at least 16 years old)
A complete sell-out last year, this event is now a Festival ‘must’.
Due to the generosity of the Cottrill family, owners of Lymm Hall,
we are once again able to offer the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful
setting and delightful atmosphere of one of Lymm’s best-kept
secrets.
Whatever your taste in picnic fare, and in whatever style you wish
to dine, you are welcome to bring all that will make you comfortable
and gastronomically satisfied. Whether it comes in a hamper or a
paper bag, set yourselves up on the sweeping lawns of the 17th Century
manor house and be prepared to relax in good company with some fine
entertainment.
To start the evening the mood will be mellow, with just the right
kind of easy music to accompany you as you picnic, chat and wander
around the beautiful grounds of Lymm Hall.
As a contrast, to get you on your feet and dancing, The New Originals,
a Manchester based band, will let rip with a great mixture of ‘covers’
from the Beatles, Abba and James Brown to Wham and Robbie Williams
and many other favourites, guaranteed to add to the party mood.
It is hoped that the evening will be made complete by the presence,
work permitting, of our regular compére, the BBC’s
North West Political Correspondent, Jim Hancock, who always manages
to bring a special blend of professionalism and geniality to the
occasion.
