Heritage Trail

Saturday 3rd July - 11am
Starting point: Rangers Cabin, Statham Avenue, Lymm. Free

Trail walk with quiz on route, supported by Vango - with your chance to win one of three Air Canyon 25 rucsacs

Ever wondered how Lymm got its dam or where the original Lymm Station stood? Can you guess what animals used to live in the building that now houses the Rugby Club's changing rooms? Find out the answers to these and many more questions as we walk the Lymm Heritage trail. Walk the 3 stimulating, and mentally, rewarding miles around the village, taking in the newly constructed Waymaker posts that peer under the modern day skin of Lymm to uncover it's fascinating natural and man made history. Grab yourself a route map from the Rangers Centre at Statham, answer some simple questions en-route and, besides the knowledge you harvest along the way, you might also win a great prize, courtesy of Vango. The walk takes in all the main sites of Lymm, such as the Dam and Slitten Gorge, and can be walked in one go or as shorter sections if you get distracted by some of Lymm's other charms along the way (pub lunch anyone?).

Suitable for all ages, meet Saturday 3 rd July, 11am at the Rangers Centre, Statham Avenue Lymm
