FESTIVAL BAROQUE CONCERT
With Lymm Festival Orchestra and the Alteri Singers

Lymm Festival presents this delightful summer concert featuring a chamber orchestra comprising
some of the best players from the region's orchestras, and conducted by Lymm resident and principal
clarinettist of the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Nicholas Cox. The concert will also feature the
Alteri Singers, regular Festival performers, whose musical director is David Jones, an experienced
conductor and professional accompanist. Some of the most beautiful and much loved Baroque music
will be performed, including Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No 2, the motet Lobet den Herrn, the Suite
No 2 in B minor and Air on a G String. Jonathan Small, oboe, will be soloist in the Albinoni Oboe
Concerto in D minor,and the choir will also perform the vibrant and celebratory Gloria by Vivaldi.
